$1,799.00
Fast Stud Welding for Thin-Sheet Metalwork
Designed for fast, repeatable stud attachment, the RSR-2500 uses capacitor-discharge technology to weld M3–M10 studs to compatible metal workpieces. A 108,000 μF capacitor bank, adjustable charging voltage and millisecond welding cycle provide a practical setup for sheet-metal fabrication, equipment assembly, insulation fastening and related stud-welding applications.
Actual welding performance depends on stud size, material combination, workpiece thickness, charging-voltage setting and surface preparation.
Stored Energy. Released in Milliseconds.
The RSR-2500 stores electrical energy in its 108,000 μF capacitor bank and releases that energy through the welding gun in a short 3–6 millisecond discharge cycle. This concentrated energy transfer creates the stud-to-workpiece weld while limiting the amount of heat introduced into the surrounding sheet metal.
Compared with fastening methods that require drilling, riveting or additional mechanical hardware, capacitor-discharge stud welding can simplify suitable attachment jobs by welding the stud directly to the metal surface.
Stores energy for rapid stud-welding cycles.
Helps limit unnecessary heat input around the attachment point.
Can reduce drilling and additional fastening steps in suitable applications.
Designed for repetitive stud-placement tasks.

One Machine for M3 Through M10 Studs
From smaller M3 fasteners to larger M10 studs, the RSR-2500 covers a broad range of common stud-welding sizes. Charging voltage can be adjusted from 33V to 198V, allowing the operator to adapt the setup to different stud diameters and working conditions.

Designed for 0.5–3 mm Metal Workpieces
Capacitor-discharge stud welding is particularly useful where a fast attachment is needed on relatively thin sheet metal. The RSR-2500 is intended for workpieces approximately 0.5–3 mm thick, with each welding cycle completed in roughly 3–6 milliseconds.
Because the energy is released over such a short period, heat is concentrated around the stud attachment point rather than being applied to the workpiece for an extended time. With the correct stud, material combination and voltage setting, this can help reduce distortion, excessive backside marking and burn-through compared with longer-duration welding processes.
Recommended Workpiece Thickness
Typical Welding Cycle
Results vary with material type, sheet thickness, stud diameter, surface condition, contact pressure and machine settings.

Match the Stud to the Workpiece
The RSR-2500 is designed for stud-welding applications involving common conductive metals. Welding performance depends on whether the stud material and workpiece material are compatible.
Carbon Steel
Suitable for many general fabrication, enclosure and metal-assembly applications when paired with a compatible stud.
Stainless Steel
Useful for stainless sheet-metal work, equipment panels and compatible corrosion-resistant fabrication applications.
Copper / Brass
Compatible applications are possible, but the stud and workpiece combination should be selected carefully.
Aluminum
Best treated as a dedicated aluminum application using a compatible aluminum stud and aluminum workpiece.

Clear Voltage Adjustment and Operating Status
The front control panel keeps the main stud-welding settings and machine status easy to monitor. Charging voltage can be adjusted from 33V to 198V using the front-panel controls.
Digital Voltage Display
Provides a clear numerical reference for the selected charging-voltage setting.
33–198V Adjustment
Use the + and − controls to increase or decrease charging voltage.
Charge / Discharge
Dedicated lights provide feedback through the capacitor charging and discharge sequence.
Ready Indicator
Shows when the charging cycle is complete and the machine is ready for the next weld.
Welding Indicator
Provides operating feedback during the welding sequence.

5-Meter Welding Gun for More Flexible Positioning
Welding Gun Length
The RSR-2500 is supplied with a 5-meter welding gun, giving the operator more room to work around larger panels, equipment housings and fabrication areas without constantly repositioning the main machine.
Two front-panel interfaces support the supplied dual-ground configuration.
Two ground cables with clamps are supplied for workpiece connection.
Power and control connections are clearly separated on the front panel.
Attach the ground clamps firmly to clean, conductive metal. Poor grounding, paint, rust or contamination can contribute to unstable welding performance.
Built for Fast, Repetitive Stud Placement
Once the stud size, material combination and charging voltage are set correctly, the RSR-2500 allows the operator to repeat the same basic welding sequence across a workpiece.
Select the Stud & Collet
Choose the stud size and install the corresponding collet in the welding gun.
Set the Charging Voltage
Adjust the machine for the stud diameter, material combination and workpiece thickness.
Position & Weld
Position the stud at the required point and complete the short capacitor-discharge welding cycle.
Depending on stud diameter and working conditions.
The stated welding rate is a reference from the supplied product information, not a guaranteed production rate. Actual throughput varies by application and operator workflow.

A Practical Layout for Everyday Stud Welding
The RSR-2500 uses a steel enclosure with an accessible front-panel connection layout and rear forced-air cooling. The machine brings the welding-gun connection, control plug, dual ground interfaces and digital controls together in one operating area.
Rigid outer housing for normal workshop use.
Forced-air cooling helps move heat away from internal components.
Connector covers help protect front interfaces when not in use.
Top handle helps reposition the machine around the work area.
Operate the machine in a dry, protected environment. IP21S does not mean the equipment is waterproof or suitable for use in rain.
Stud Welding for Sheet Metal, Equipment & Insulation Work
Capacitor-discharge stud welding is used where threaded studs, fastening points or insulation pins need to be attached directly to relatively thin metal surfaces.
